Return & Exchange
You have the right to return your purchase within 14 days of receiving your package. To do so, fill out the return form included in your package and send the item back to us. It is important that the returned item is in original condition and packaging. The return shipping costs must be covered by you, and you are responsible for the package until it reaches us. Therefore, we recommend that you use a shipping method that allows you to track the package.
If you wish to exchange an item for another, you must first return the original item by following the return procedure. Then, you can place a new order for the item you want instead.
We process returns as quickly as possible. Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will process your refund within a few business days. MARGRETHE SERIES
Yes, the new material for Margrethe bowls is microwave-safe, and the accompanying lid is also safe to use. If you are unsure whether you have the new or old Margrethe bowl, check the bottom of the bowl, where it is indicated whether it is microwave-safe. Be sure to follow the microwave usage instructions, which can be found on the bottom of the bowl (maximum 5 minutes at 600 watts).
One of the differences between the new and old Margrethe bowls is their suitability for microwave use. Turn the bowl over – on the bottom, it will state whether it is microwave-safe. If it is microwave-safe, the bowl is made from the new material, and if it is not, it is made from the old material.
Yes, both the new Margrethe bowl and its lid are freezer-safe.
Yes, both the bowl and the lid can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Yes, the new Margrethe bowls come with a 5-year warranty. In fact, all Rosti products have a 5-year warranty, and if a product does not meet this standard, it does not make it into Rosti’s range. Warranty terms can be found here.
Yes, the new Margrethe bowl has higher break resistance than the old one and, in most cases, can withstand being dropped on the floor without breaking.
Yes, if the base ring becomes worn, it can easily be replaced with a new one, thereby extending the lifespan of the Margrethe bowl.
This is usually caused by the base ring not being fully pressed up all the way around, making the bowl unstable. Firmly press the ring all the way around. If this does not resolve the issue, try replacing the base ring. If it is within the 5-year warranty period, this is covered by the warranty, and Rosti will replace it free of charge. Please note that the base rings on the old and new Margrethe bowls are not identical.
Yes, the lids fit both the new and old Margrethe bowls.
Yes, both the new and old Margrethe bowls can withstand the use of a hand mixer. However, be mindful of the type of beaters you use. Wide ribbon beaters or beaters with sharp tips may cause scratches, so we do not recommend using this type of beater. This type of beater is very harsh on all plastic materials.
You can try removing discolouration or black streaks caused by beaters using citric acid or baking powder.
We recommend carefully peeling off the sticker, and if any adhesive residue remains, we suggest removing it with alcohol (spirits).
The main difference lies in the material used to produce the Margrethe bowls. The old material was not microwave- or freezer-safe, whereas the new material is. Additionally, the new material has higher break resistance and an extended 5-year warranty. The base ring is also wider, providing better stability during use. Overall, the new Margrethe bowl offers far more versatility, as it can now also be used for heating food in the microwave and freezing leftovers.
The Margrethe bowl was designed by Acton Bjørn and Sigvard Bernadotte, the latter being the uncle of Queen Margrethe II, after whom the bowl was named. It was launched in the early 1950s and has remained one of the most popular kitchen products ever since.

MENSURA SERIES
KITCHEN SCALE
The great thing about the Mensura kitchen scale is that it is primarily used with the included bowl, which also functions as a lid when the scale is not in use. This keeps the scale itself clean and hygienic, meaning only the bowl gets dirty and needs to be cleaned.
The bowl/lid is dishwasher-safe, but the scale itself is not. It should be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth.
When the kitchen scale needs new batteries, a battery icon will appear on the display. When the scale is turned on, all icons light up momentarily – this is not a sign that the batteries need to be replaced. It works similarly to a car dashboard, where all warning lights illuminate when the ignition is turned on.
Yes, use the ‘unit’ function to switch between measurement units, including liquids such as water and milk.
Yes, this kitchen scale features a special LED display, which most other kitchen scales do not have. The display is black with illuminated white LED numbers, making it easy to read from all angles and under any lighting conditions.
Yes, the products have been food tested and approved according to EU legislation.
MEASURING JUG
Yes, the Mensura measuring jug is designed to withstand boiling water. However, this does not apply to the decilitre measure and measuring spoon in the Mensura series.
Yes, Mensura measuring jugs have clear and precise measurement scales, which also include UK and US measurement units.
The measuring jug, decilitre measure, and measuring spoon all have a middle marking that indicates half and full litre on the measuring jug, half and full decilitre on the decilitre measure, and teaspoon/tablespoon on the measuring spoon.
Yes, the products have been food tested and approved according to EU legislation.
OPTIMA SERIES
Optima utensils can withstand temperatures up to 220°C / 428°F.
Yes, it is recommended that you do not leave the utensils in the pot or pan when they are not in use.
Yes, when you are finished using the utensils, they can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
